Golden Retriever Foundation:   In 1997, the Golden Retriever Club of America created the Golden Retriever Foundation as a means of improving the health and well-being of the breed.  The Foundation's April Fund has assisted LAGR and many other Rescue groups with veterinary expenses for Golden with serious health issues.
