Want to help a dog even if you’re not able to adopt or foster?  Then join the Foster Buddy program!

 As a Foster Buddy, you can lend a hand to a dog in need.  We provide veterinary care for our foster dogs including making sure that they are spayed or neutered, current on their shots, microchipped, checked for heartworm, provided with monthly heartworm preventative, and given any other necessary veterinary care while in our care.  Some of our Goldens have serious or unusual medical conditions and require extensive treatment. Our requested adoption donation does not cover the cost of those treatments and so having a foster buddy helps defray the cost of those types of treatments.  In addition, we sometimes incur expenses for shelter fees or to reimburse other rescue groups for their expenses in helping the dog.  You can help by deciding how much support you’d like to provide for a dog and donating that sum of money.

 To become a Foster Buddy, first pick your Foster Buddy dog from those listed on our Goldens Available page.  If somebody else is already listed as a Foster Buddy for that dog, don’t worry—more than one Foster Buddy is welcome.  If one dog is so fortunate that his or her Foster Buddies provide more than is required for that dog’s care, then that dog will share any excess with the other foster dogs.

After picking your Foster Buddy, mail your tax deductible check or money order to:

We will place your name next to your Foster Buddy dog on our web page and in other publications unless you let us know you'd rather be an anonymous Foster Buddy. There is no minimum contribution to be a Foster Buddy. Your new Golden Buddy thanks you for your help!

If you would like to become a Foster Buddy and make your donation over the internet, click the "Paypal" button below.  You will be taken to a donation form.   In the blank labeled "Payment for" indicate the name of the dog you wish to sponsor.    Fill in the amount of your donation and follow the Paypal instructions.  When your transaction is complete you will be returned to this page.   Under "Shipping Address" please indicate your postal address so that we can send you a Thank You.
