Do you love Goldens?
We are a group of unpaid volunteers who love Goldens and want to help other Goldens have the loving homes they deserve. Many of us, but not all, live in the St. Louis, MO area, and our primary focus is on Goldens in that area or within driving distance. Volunteers are expected to participate in at least 2 Love A Golden activities per year to remain active.
Do you enjoy baking?
Baking dog treats is easy, fun, and profitable for Love a Golden Rescue. We sell these treats at events and can never have enough. We supply the recipe and you do the rest. Fun and easy!
Do you want to help displaced Goldens find loving homes?
Volunteers go on home visits to meet with prospective adoptive families and transport dogs.
Might you be Interested in meeting others interested in Goldens and helping educate people about responsible dog ownership?
We host and attend events to introduce our dogs to potential adoptive families and educate those we meet about responsible dog ownership. Volunteers are expected to participate in at least 2 Love a Golden activities per year to remain active. Click HERE to see upcoming events.

We are currently in desperate need of foster homes. If you think you might be willing to open your home to a dog who needs a place to go temporarily and needs love and attention, then please let us know.
