Special Needs Female Golden Retriever
Sophia is a senior girl DOB 10/20/15, she is very sweet and loves to go on walks. She was originally on an Indian Reservation in KS. She had a great life until circumstances changed. An Irish Setter Rescue took her from a shelter thinking she was a setter. She is in fact a very red golden so they asked if we would take her. She does have a medical issue, Cushing which is under control with her daily meds given at the same time each day. Her medication is Vetoryl 30 mg and the price varies. As an estimate $100.00 a month, she will need this for the rest of her life to keep the Cushing under control. She also has to have an annual blood test to evaluate her Cushing levels this was last done Spring 2026.
