Buster is a very special boy,
with very special needs!

This is Buster, he came to rescue after he was shot in the hock (ankle) because he was chasing cattle. He is a very sweet golden mix and is still young–only two years old.
His injury happened several months ago, before he came to rescue. X rays showed parts of the bullet are still there, part of the bone is gone and between the bone loss and the fragments stil in place, it has affected his gait.
On May 28th he went to the veterinary college in Columbia to be evaluated. He will be having surgery in June and plates will be put in his leg. He has a very long four-month recovery ahead of him.
We are asking for foster buddies for Buster to help with the expense of this surgery. Getting his leg cleaned out (the bullet fragments) and installing the hardware, so he can walk properly, is an expensive surgery.
Could you help out? Being Buster’s foster buddy means you will be one of the people who helps this young dog lead a healthy and happy life.
Buster’s medical needs are very expensive and he is asking for FOSTER BUDDIES
to help with the expense.
