Male Golden Doodle

Snoop is a smart, happy, energetic puppy. He loves to play and wants to be included in anything we are doing. He will look for attention any way he can get it. Sometimes that means doing something naughty but he is quickly learning the house rules and genuinely wants to please. He is great with my two kids, he will let them snuggle him and plays with them like they are puppies too. He does nip when he is over excited but is easily redirected to a toy. He adores playing with my 2 year old golden retriever who is 4 times his size. They keep each other entertained and well exercised. He would do great in a house with another dog who enjoys rambunctious play. He is a quick learner. He now anticipates his daily training session and he gets so excited to train. He has mastered sit, down, stay (for duration, still working on distance), and he comes when he is called. He is mostly potty trained and rarely has an accident in the house. He hates being alone and will actively try to escape a dog gate or fence to get to you, so any enclosure must be secure. He does sleep quietly through the night in a crate. My favorite thing about Snoop is a silly game he likes to play. When he sees me heading to the couch to sit down he will run as fast as he can to sit in my spot before I get there and then he won’t budge until I put him on my lap and pet him. He flops over with joy at his clever game and it is truly adorable. Snoop is still very much a puppy and he will get into mischief if left to his own devices. He will need a lot of love, attention, and structure to help him learn how to be a well mannered dog but it will be absolutely worth it.
