Happy Endings

April - June  2006

These are some of our adopted Goldens
who have gone on to their new homes!

Buddy (formerly Brewster)

Buddy (whose rescue name was Brewster) is having a great time in his new home with lots of attention, toys, and fun rides in the car.

Hannah (formerly Melody)

Hannah (whose rescue name was Melody) is a sensitive Golden girl who is very happy to have a family to love.  Her new family hopes to do therapy dog visits once Hannah is ready.

Copper loves people and fun times, and he is getting lots of love back in his new home and having lots of fun.

Coby (formerly Cody)

Cody has a new home and a new name Coby.  He is having a blast with his new doggie buddy Hannah.  Cody is a very special boy who had several cancerous mast cell tumors removed, underwent chemo in rescue, and has now found a very special home who loves him as he is.

Gracie (formerly Sherrie)

Sherrie has a new name Gracie and a new home with her foster family who fell in love with her and couldn't let her go.  She is a sweet and shy girl who has come a long way and continues to blossom.

Sedona (formerly Willow)

Willow, now Sedona, is looking forward to an exciting new life and becoming a therapy dog.

Wilson was a stray found soon after a tornado in his town.  The shelter thought that perhaps he got loose because of the storms, but surprisingly no one came to claim him at the shelter.  Now he is a very lucky boy who has his very own family to raise him and teach him what all puppies need to learn.

Shalya (formerly Midge)

Shayla (whose rescue name was Midge) thrives on the love and attention in her new home and has already taken a fun trip to the lake.

Lexie is a loving Senior Golden girl who is so enjoying all the attention in her new home.

Maple and Victoria

Maple and Victoria are two very lucky Golden girls who found a home together.  They get to go to work with their new family every day and are already starting obedience classes.  Maple has a deformed leg due to being run over by a car several years ago, but her new family loves her as she is.  Victoria was adopted under our Senior for Life Program.

Jo Jo (formerly Fawn)

Jo Jo (whose rescue name was Fawn and who is pictured here on her back during a playtime) is having a blast in her new home with her new Golden sister Casey.   Jo Jo is shy in new situations, and her new family is helping her continue to blossom.

Piper Rae (formerly Charisma)

Charisma has a new name, Piper Rae, and a new Golden sister, Kaelee. She is a happy being a "cuddle muffin" in her new home and enjoys birdwatching when she's out for playtime in the backyard.

Marly had an apparently hard life before ending up in a shelter at approximately 8 years old.  Now she is having a blast in her new home where she is showing what it's like to be 8 years "young."  She has a new doggie sister Mazy and lots of play time.

Maizy is an active and happy young Golden who is looking forward to lots of play time in her new home.  She's started some training and hopes some day to be able to go on visits to hospitals or schools.

Hayden is a playful young Golden mix who is enjoying his snuggle time with his new family.

Frazier is a sweet senior Golden, approximately 10 years old, who is enjoying trips to the park and hikes in his new home.

Dually is a young adult male Golden who loves to play and is getting lots of opportunity to do so in his new home.

Mandy didn't get much attention before coming to rescue, but she is making up for lost time in her new home.

Lanine (formerly Lovey)

Lainey (whose rescue name was Lovey) is getting lots of snuggles and lots of fun playtime in her new home with her new Golden big sister.

Lucy (formerly Skye)

Lucy (whose rescue name was Skye) is very happy little girl to have a new family to love.

Savanah was shy and malnourished when she first came to rescue.  Now she is a beloved family companion and in this picture from her new home is sharing the couch with her new doggie brother Rylee and her new owner.

Pepper is enjoying life with her new family and taking lots of walks and doing other fun things with them.

Carter is very happy being a "shadow" and following his new family everywhere so he can get lots of attention.

Rufus is enjoying his new forever home which was his foster home.
