Cara

Cara is approximately 2 year old,.  She is a very cute young lady.  She is very sweet, learns quickly and loves everyone.  She is looking for a loving home who will give her lots of attention.

Emmie

Emmie is an 8 yr old GR who was surrendered by her owner. She had been with them her entire life. She was their 'first child' and then two human children came along. One of them developed allergies and asthma and so Emmie has to find a new home. She has always had some fears but the last year she has been in the finished basement in an effort to control the allergy problem and her fears have grown. She has been in her foster home about 10 days and finally she is relaxing a little. She loves other dogs and wants to play. Her fears keep her from going for walks but her foster Mom is working on that. She had to be shaved because there was some matting but she has a beautiful blonde coat that has already started growing back. She has oral cancer and has a tumor on her lower jaw. It has been removed but grew back. She eats a little slower but it is not a huge problem. She is a sweet dog who is ready for her forever home.

Brandi

Brandi is a wonderful girl who is 5 years old. She is a true Velcro dog needing to be with you at all times. She likes the other dogs in her foster home but prefers her foster people. She is well mannered and a joy to foster. Brandi was given a "hair cut" before coming to rescue, but soon her wonderful Golden coat will grow back. She is best suited for a home with a physical fence.

Cleo

Cleo is a 3 1/2 yr old female. She is sweet and eager to please. She would like to be a lap dog but her size prevents that. She walks well on a leash and is ready to go whenever you are. She is house broken and gets along with all dogs. Her previous home was not that good. She has been happy in her foster home and can't wait to find her forever home. Cleo will do best in a home with a physical fence.

Rascal

Rascal is a new intake.  She has been an outside dog.  She is learning how to live in the house in her foster home.  She is 1 1/2 year old and is probably a mix.  She is very sweet and cannot wait for a home of her own.

Lucille

Lucille is a very sweet 6 yr old Golden Retriever who has overcome several obstacles in her life. She is now totally recovered from Heartworm treatment and is healthy. She is housebroken, playful and always ready to go for a walk. She loves attention but is also self sufficient. She likes to carry something in her mouth, like a toy or tennis ball and will run to chase a squirrel up a tree, a fenced yard is the best for her. She is easy to get along with whether it be a human or canine.

Chloe
HI EVERYONE! My name is Chloe, someone said I'm 9! I don't think so, I feel like I'm only 2. My first family couldn't help with something they called thunderstorms and put me in a scary place with lots of other dogs, I didn't like it much. Then I got to ride in a car for awhile and someone else took me to a really neat place with other dogs My new best friend calls me "grandma", cause I get to take teach the little ones. This place is really neat, I have water to swim in. My foster mom says I've learned lots of good things, like to sit, down, back, off, leave it, wait, stay. I get to go on lots of walks. I feel so much better after I started taking medicine for something called "Low Thyroid" and have lost 7 lbs! What's even better is I'm not as scared of loud noises any more, they still bother me a bit, but not like before, I'm safe. I love baths, being dried and brushed, swimming, car rides, walks, rolling in the grass...I don't know my favorite...maybe being petted? I just can't decide. My only wish is for my own home so I can play ball or nap all day. I know someone will love me for me, I'll be around for a long time but I am part of Love a Golden Rescue Senior Program.

Sophie

Hi, my name is Sophie and I am about 5 years old. I was rescued from a kennel and have learned a lot about living in a house. My new home should have a fenced yard. I am shy sometimes and it can take me a while to warm up, but once I do we will be best friends. I am learning to play with toys and like to carry a toy around in my mouth whenever possible. I live with two dogs and three cats in my foster home. My foster parents say I do well with cats. I'd like to maybe have another dog in the house to show me the ropes as I like to follow the resident dogs around and have learned how to live like a dog from them.

Bella

Bella is a very shy girl who came from a puppy mill.  She is approximately 4 years old.  She has a long road ahead of her before she is ready to be adopted, but would love some Foster Buddy to help with her medical bills.  Watch her grow as we add updated pictures.   She has had a terrible life but lucky to be in rescue.
