Brooke

Hi, my name is Brooke!  I was rescued from a shelter in SW Missouri. I am now in foster care and doing very well.  I am housebroken and well behaved and love being in a home where my foster family takes good care of me.  I sleep well in a crate and I am very well behaved.  I would probably benefit from training since no one ever bothered to do that before!

Abbey

Abbey was surrendered when she had problems delivering her puppies. She is 3 ˝ years old.   She has been an outside dog but is learning to live in the house.   She does love to lay outside and watch the world go by.    She is learning the joy of going on walks and getting more confident with the world around her.

O'Hara
O’Hara is a new intake estimated to be 3 years.   She  came from a very bad situation of being tied out, with no water in the hot sun.   The mail lady persuaded the family to give her up.  She is very sweet and we are getting to know her.

Samara
Samara is 4 years old, she is a Golden mix and weighs around 50 lb.  Her owner turned her in to a shelter and we saved her from the shelter.  We are still getting to know her put she is a fun girl.

Lexus
Lexus is a darling senior girl who we estimate to be 9 years young.  She came to us as a stray, but appears to have been loved by a previous owner, as she is intelligent, trained, gentle and extremely affectionate, not to mention extremely beautiful.  We are working on helping her gain weight, as she was very underweight after being a stray before being found by some very caring helpers.  She has an endearing personality and is a joy to have in her foster home.  Lexus enjoys the company of other dogs, as well as people, and would like a forever family that will appreciate what an amazing girl she is and shower her with the love and attention which she will give back in return.  Don't let her age fool you- she's full of spunk and will win your heart the first time you meet her.

Krissey
Krissey is 7 years old,  she is a low key girl who enjoys the quiet life.   She was an owner surrender who was unable to keep her due to family medical problems.   She likes to go on walks but we have found she does not like going out in the wet grass.

Sooner
To use a computer term, Sooner is almost a Plug and Play dog.  If you are looking for a dog that will not need a lot of work to fit in, Sooner is the one.  She knows common commands, is house broke, and has good manners around the house.  Simply say 'kennel' and she goes into her crate and waits for a treat.  Sooner is a loving dog who only wants love and attention in return.
She will sleep in bed with you if you let her, and snuggles in the morning when you wake up.  Her best forever home would be a one dog household, as she doesn't readily share her toys are family with another dog.  Sooner is 3 years old.

EmmaLee
Emmalee, or Emma as we call her, is 3 years old and was an owner surrender due to lack of time.  She is a fun dog that loves her squeaky toys!   She does well with other dogs in the house, but does not do well with children.  She craves attention and will come to you often to be pet.  She knows basic commands like sit and down and she walks good on a leash.  Emma has a short, curly coat that does not shed much compared to other Goldens.  Emma is looking for a forever home that she can spend many happy years with.

Bella

Bella is a very shy girl who came from a puppy mill.  She is approximately 4 years old.  She has a long road ahead of her before she is ready to be adopted, but would love some Foster Buddy to help with her medical bills.  Watch her grow as we add updated pictures.   She has had a terrible life but lucky to be in rescue.
